Living close to the metric society of Canada often leaves me in much confusion. Things like: is 10 centimeters of snowfall something to get excited about? Is a 1500 meter mountain high enough to get good rideable snow? What about 40 millimeters of rain? Is that a) small puddles, b) galoshes, or c) urban flood stage? The smaller incremented Celcius scale has always baffeled me. I have no idea what the difference is between 14, or 18, or 22°C. Where does 'no jacket required' or 'can wear shorts' place in there? So I've put together this conversions page. (Note: wind chill calculator is specific to mph and °F only)
